Hi Pazcal !

I had the same problem... I could read Manufacturing ID and what is basicly in a page... Anyway there are two write protects :
- One is Hard (/WP) which must stay at high level to write
- The other one is software : there are 4 opcodes to send to the flash and it will disable the software protect. For my AT45DB642D these opcodes are : 3D 2A 7F A9

Sorry for being late....

Hi !

I have a problem with the dataflash and I don't know if you had this problem...

I write one byte (for example 85h) 50 times into the Buffer1, then I watch with an oscilloscope MOSI (Dataflash Output), I make note that I loose one bit randomly that shift the following bytes in the dataflash buffer...
Anyway the first bytes that I read are right...
SCK frequency is 500 kHz...

Do you have the same problem ?

Thanks
Bobish

Hello!

No, I have never experienced that. But I don't have too much time for
the flash software now. I will resume soon and tell you what happens.

Hello!

I should have reported this earlier, but the AT45 memory works well.
An application is shown here, allowing to store data to be used by a MSP430.

That's it!
