An in-house designed device was sent to space by Soyouz flight on June 3, 2011. This device is an EEG (electro encephalograph) capable of recording brainwaves for 12 hours at once. The data is stored in an SD card and can be easily transfered to a PC. The device was attached to the head of the person under test using a special helmet as seen on the riight.
The purpose is to study the influence of no-gravity on sleep.
